So you don't think that I am a total wingnut, let me start off by saying that if you have NO traffic at all... I mean not even ONE single visitor each day, then traffic is a big problem that you need to work on if you have any hope at all of succeeding on-line or making money from your website.

Let's face facts, no visitors means no sales... so, you DO need traffic.

In fact, it's a good thing you are here, because if you hadn't come here first, you would no doubt be trying to solve your website problems by throwing money at the traffic issue....

How Much Traffic Do You Need
To Have a Successful Website?

 

You see, this question is really at the heart of what we are discussing here today, isn't it? However, the answer may surprise you.

For the sake of conversation... let's say your website is set up as a "for profit" business. In other words, you want to sell something on your website.

 

How much traffic do you need to make a sale?

Answer = 1 Visitor

 

IF... that visitor BUYS what you are selling, right?

What if you have 1,000 visitors come to your website and NOT ONE PERSON BUYS what you are selling?

Which of these two sites would you consider more successful?

  1. The site with 1 visitor and one sale... or

  2. The site with 1,000 visitors and NO sale?

The answer is pretty obvious isn't it?

1 Sale is certainly better than none -- So, the 1st site would be the more successful of the two we are looking at here, agreed?

"Fact is, it isn't how much traffic you get to your website that should concern you IN THE BEGINNING, but how many visitors actually take action... and buy what you are selling."

Imagine what you could do with a website where every single visitor who came to your website purchased your product or service... how successful would you be with just 20 visitors a day... who ALL BUY?

My guess is, pretty successful.

Maybe not the millionaire you want to be yet, but think about what you could do with EVERY visitor who comes to your site purchasing your product or service...

All you would need to do, is just turn on the faucet, and drive more targeted visitors to your site to make more money, correct?!

Unfortunately, so many people get this backward... they think that getting more traffic to their website is what's keeping them from their success, and the truth is... what may be holding them back is a website that just doesn't work.

This "getting visitors to take-action" or buy or change their way of thinking or opt-in, etc. is called "website conversion."

In other words, if I were to ask you "Does your website CONVERT visitors into buyers" I mean... does it make them take action... not just any action, but the action YOU want them to take?

Does your website get people to... buy your product or service, call your office, click the "Add to Cart" button, change their mind, leave their name and email address, etc.?

Do you see how making sure your website actually get's people to take the action you want them to is more important than getting more visitors to your website - when you are getting started?

People make decisions based on very predictable, emotional, genetic, hard-wired, human nature.

 

And guess what?

What makes people decide to take action and make a decision to do one thing or another (like buy your product or service), has been tested and researched and studied for many, many years...
